The leading international nonprofit association, Color Marketing Group (CMG), has been correctly predicting color trends for more then 45 years and this year is no different.
Color Marketing Group is saying that purple is the hot fashion color for this year and is the “mush have” color for 2009.
Purple has gained a lot of attention since last fall. The grayed-out violets will work very well as an accent or as a neutral.
Blues are in. For this year and more years to come, just about any blue you choose will be a suitable color for the 2009 trend.
Yellow that was the ‘80s vivid and energetic color is back for 2009. Now popular, yellow against gray is an eye opener.
Grays are the new elegance in color that makes a bridge between black, that is to harsh and brown that is not robust enough.
And guess what. CMG is telling us that Mauve is in for 2009. It will serve as a neutral and also work as an accent.
When your closet colors diminish from fashion, finding the perfect match is almost impossible. With the old colors coming back it might be the perfect time to improve on your wardrobe without having to break the bank.
